I remember one Christmas when James and Audrey sent us a traditional Christmas card in which James had written an encouraging note for the new year. The note said, “God bless your year – In the bright, in the drear, God bless your year!” Think about it! Isn’t that exactly what you and I need for 2012? If we’re going to accomplish anything for God, we must have His blessing. Next year will be dismal indeed if it is not in some manner blessed of God.

The year has gone by in a blink of an eye it seems. Our family had a great thanksgiving; praising the LORD for all His blessings this year,
but mostly for His great salvation which compels us to go forth and
tell others of our hope in JESUS. The ministry here in Robbins ville, NC
had their Christmas dinner last Saturday, and we had a new family(
which we have been praying for) attend the dinner. The children had lots
of fun making a ginger bread house, for the first time.
